Mini-Bio: Midwest-raised techno DJ. Inspired by the likes of Superstars of Love, Dr Freecloud's, and Drop Bass Network. Opened for the likes of Richie Hawtin, Frankie Bones, Green Velvet, Dan Bell, T1000, and a slew of others across the country and even over in Europe. A graduate of Webster University with a degree in Audio Production, he is currently working as an audio tech for various concerts, shows, and events here in St. Louis and outwards...
Foster fell in love with electonic dance music even before he heard the first track on a certain rave compilation CD. Known to dance his ass off to the likes of MC Hammer and C&C Music Factory in the 6th grade, Foster was destined to be involved in music for making the masses dance. He taught himself how to DJ when he was a bright-eyed high-schooling lad, travelling to the various raves and parties around the midwest during the 90s. He would sit by and watch the DJs for hours, only to proceed that with some boogieing. He amassed a vast selection of techno tracks on vinyl from 1995 to sometime here in the 21st century when the digital age of DJing rolled in. While his primary DJ setup has become completely digital over the recent years, Foster still uses vinyl along with his other gear but admits records are heavy and in their last days of glory. His source of music is still the same however: various outlets such as the depths of hell and the mothership in orbit.
